Talks For Hope was created with the aim of initiating discussions with experts in the humanitarian aid industry in the middle east, in specific with experts in aid delivery, prosthetics and orthotics, in addition to physical medicine and rehabilitation.

With special focus on grassroots work.

the purpose is to raise awareness within the donor community about the crisis of war victims in the middle east particularly those of blast civilian victims that have endured traumatic amputations.

Amputee rehabilitation mandates following a multi disciplinary approach; it includes the close interaction and collaboration between surgeons in different fields such as orthopedic, plastic, and reconstructive fields, all happening in synergy along with a PMR specialist. occupational and physical therapists, in addition to a certified prosthetics consultant.

Wings For Hope with the help of its highly specialized medical advisory board organize capacity building activities, such as trainings and workshops for specialists across the different sectors involved in war amputee rehabilitation.
